"I believe that every man, woman, boy and girl has a purpose in life. However, it's only until you give your life to Jesus Christ and fully surrender to Him that you begin to walk in your true destiny."
Gospel vocalist Marvia Providence has done something very few Gospel artists have been able to do; she has pierced the mainstream by bringing her island rhythms and fresh sounds to the music scene. This blessed and outstanding lady was eight years old when she discovered her talent as a gospel artist. However, it was in 1985 when she fully committed her life to Christ Jesus that her spirit was caught up with her mission for the international community and the universal body of Christ. It was music that led her to find her own voice in the vast arena of Gospel, thus thrusting her into what is now a growing and successful ministry.

As an anointed Evangelist, she has ministered the gospel and shared the stage in several conferences with other great ministers such as TV Evangelist Paula White, Eddy Long, John Francis, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Sheryl Brady, Beverly Crawford, Bishop Neil C. Ellis and many other great men and women of God.

Marvia’s musical style is heavily influenced by the warm sounds of the Caribbean to the traditional sounds of Southern Gospel. Her soulful and sometimes raspy voice has woven its way through the tapestry of gospel music, weaving a picture of hope and passion for her listeners.
